About Us

Nestled in beautiful Irmo, SC our office seeks to take a unique, home-like approach to bracing, orthotics and prosthetics. Foot Savi delivers individual attention to fit, in fact our motto is “Fit for Health.” From European comfort shoes to American made athletic wear, Foot Savi adds professional expertise in a living-room style setting for the best of care. Our office carries a variety of bracing products, therapeutic shoes, compression therapies, custom orthotics and toe fillers, along with medical equipment and supplies. Our med spa assists with unsightly nails and calluses along with relaxing reflexology.
In 2022 The Orthocare Place rebranded to Foot Savi increasing our services and in-store fitting experience. Foot Savi is a division of Solutions Orthocare Group, LLC which specializes in diabetic footwear, bracing and compression.

Clinician

It all started in 1993 when Congress passed the Therapeutic Shoe Bill for diabetics. Working as the office manager for family-owned Middleburg Pharmacy and Diabetic supply company, Sion was put in charge of fitting diabetic patients for shoes. In 2004, the business merged with mid-sized Long’s Drugs. Sion soon became Director of Retail Services for Long Term Care overseeing twelve retail DME locations. In 2012 he started MedPoints Medical, a medical equipment supply company. In 2013 he purchased Foot Solutons of Columbia and lead that franchise for seven years until its closure in April 2020 following the COVID-19 pandemic. Out of the ashes of this tragedy, Sion was tapped to lead Foot Savi as a chief fitter and merged MedPoints to increase medical supply options. He is a member of AOPA, PFA, and has been a board member for the accrediting body BOC (2016-2020). He holds a certification in compression therapy from Sigvaris USA as well as Health Management Certification from The University of Oregon. He is a BOC certified pedorthist and brace specialist along with a CDME as a medical supply specialist.

He has been “fitting” for 25+ years.
